BUSINESS HEALTH – Rethinking a healthy organisation

  • A conference on Burnout Prevention
  • 14.12. 2011 in Seeburg (Lower Saxony), Germany

The topic of Burnout is gaining more and more importance in a performance oriented economy.  The subtle process of Burnout is all too often only recognised in its late stages, and serious, long-term illnesses, resulting in increased absenteeism and higher economic costs ensue.

In the framework of the EU-funded project BOIT (Burnout Intervention Training), a team of people from across 6 countries (Austria, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Romania and England) developed a training concept, to inform and sensitise managers and team leaders to the topic of Burnout, and to give them the skills to make the necessary changes to intercept Burnout at an early stage.

The concept of the training will be presented at the conference, along with the experiences of the participating countries, and there will be the opportunity to network and exchange with the European project partners.
